Roblox thumbnail download

Save the image. Respect the creator.

Downloaded Roblox thumbnails are useful for references, mockups, and your own game workflow. They are not automatically yours to republish or use in advertising.

How to download and prepare a Roblox thumbnail

When you save a Roblox thumbnail for a reference board or internal review, keep the original URL and note the experience it came from. If you publish an image, make sure you have the rights or permission to use it.

Use a clear file workflow

  1. Open the image at its largest available size.
  2. Save it with a descriptive filename, such as brookhaven-thumbnail-reference.png.
  3. Keep the source URL and game name with the file.
  4. Resize a copy for your mockup instead of overwriting the original.

Use your own art for promotion

A reference image can help you study composition, contrast, and cropping. For a forgeplace placement or any public promotion, upload a thumbnail that represents your own Roblox experience and that you are allowed to display.

Make downloaded images discoverable on your own site

If you publish images you own, use a standard <img> element, descriptive filenames, useful alt text, and a page whose title and copy explain the image. That gives search engines context without relying on hidden metadata or keyword repetition.

forgeplace moderation requires Roblox-related content and a valid Roblox experience link. A placement is for your game promotion, not for reposting someone else's artwork.

Download FAQ

Can I use a downloaded Roblox thumbnail in my ad?

Only if you own it or have permission to use it. A public image URL does not automatically grant advertising or redistribution rights.

What file format should I save?

PNG is useful for crisp graphics and JPG is useful for photographic artwork. Keep the image in a 16:9 shape when it will be used as a game thumbnail.
